Status Update - Project Life

Nowadays, we are 'everywhere' and 'nowhere' at the same time.  We are so over scheduled that we are rarely absorbing and enjoy the moments that pass us day to day / minute by minute.

Could we be missing some of the most meaningful moments of life - the 'now' and the moments we share with those around us while we are all in the 'now'.

As a consultant, I want to create a picture, which usually means a dashboard.

It is time to take stock friends - meaning take a moment and stop/breath/think - feel our fingers and toes - then, assess our overall achievement on our top priorities in life.

You said it, so let's see our progress!

What are your top priorities?  How would you rank your success on those overall priorities, in the simplest form - red (bad), yellow (meh) and green (doing great/killing it).  Yes, life … bet you never thought about things in that way ...

Got a lot of reds on that dashboard?  How does that make you feel overall? Good, bad, sad or indifferent ...

We all have moments where we feel we aren't doing so well on certain priorities.  As they say, awareness is the first step, and that awareness leads us down the path to make the changes that we need to make to have a greater impact on those around us or those existential priorities.

Not going to lie - my dashboard has a couple reds and yellows so none of us are perfect.

But, reds don't turn to green unless you are willing to try and work hard to make it happen.  And, that may mean we need to set aside our 'ego' and let other things become less than a high priority.

Change is movement forward friends … let's start focusing on what is really important, which is what serves us to be better overall.

Turn those reds into greens - no excuses, just make it happen!
